We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead, guide and direct engineering activities and technology. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will focus on strategic planning, continuous improvements, capital investments and leading projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high mix low volume machining, fabrication and assembly environment. Candidates will need strong machining skills. Knowledge of feeds, speeds, cutting tools, fixturing, CNC lathes, CNC mills, grinding and machining methodologies is a must. Previous experience processing and programming multi-axis CNC machine tools is preferred. Strong project management skills leading product launches, capital investments and lean manufacturing objectives is needed. Past accomplishments implementing lean, Kaizen, SMED and 5-S is a plus. Candidates who have a track record of improving engineering systems, procedures, software and technology are preferred. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead manufacturing, engineers, designers and CNC programming. This position interacts with cutting tool, work holding and machine tool vendors.
