This facility produces fasteners on multi-die progressive headers and thread rolls. They have multiple 4-5 die National cold headers and Waterbury thread rolling equipment. The Plant Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project management, production systems, machine efficiencies, uptime, safety, quality and on-time delivery. This is a technical role requiring a good mix of leadership skills and cold heading experience. The Plant Manager will lead small groups to resolve tooling, set up and machine tool issues, improve processes and reduce cost. Strong organizational skills ensuring all necessary tools and material are ready for production is a must. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a specialty / customer fastener business unit. Past experience interviewing, hiring, team building, reviewing employees, promoting and conducting disciplinary actions is also required.
